In a 5,8 hectares development in Bengkong, Batam, we were entrusted to design the architectural elements within Queensland, Golden City, from the houses to the main gate, cluster entrances, marketing gallery, clubhouse, and public parks. While the masterplan was not within our scope, we focused on shaping the built environment through a cohesive architectural approach.
Rather than treating each element as separate, we built a connecting thread through patterns, color tones, and spatial rhythms. The architecture seeks to present an elegant and composed exterior, while offering expandable, adaptive interiors spaces that can grow alongside the people who inhabit them.
In the public realm, the parks and communal facilities are envisioned as open, inclusive landscapes. Boundaries are softened, and the experience of movement and gathering is made seamless reflecting a belief that good architecture should always invite possibility, not impose limitations.
